The design went through multiple rounds of iterative prototyping before reaching its final form. Early lo-fi wireframes mapped out the core user journeys, job assignment, on-site assessment flow, and report submission, focusing on task sequencing and information hierarchy before any visual decisions were made. These were translated into mid-fidelity prototypes in Figma to validate navigation patterns and screen transitions. Key interaction challenges, such as multi-step compliance checklists and photo annotation, were stress-tested through clickable prototypes to identify friction points early. Feedback loops with the client informed layout adjustments and helped prioritise which workflows needed the most simplification. The final hi-fi prototype served as a living spec for the development team, complete with component states, edge cases, and annotated handoff notes.
