When I began the market research for this project, I didn't anticipate that creating visual identities for gamers on streaming platforms would differ significantly from my usual experience in designing brand identities. Initially, I assumed it would be similar to launching a new company, with consistent icons, colors, and editing styles across all channels. However, I quickly realized that streamers primarily rely on their faces and personalities to build their brands, which posed a challenge for my client, who preferred not to show his face. After discussing this with him, we decided to use avatar emotes for his gaming streams instead.
