I created this cover art for JC Ronato circa 2021, and it instantly became my favorite illustration!
"Mahalaga is going to be about something beyond material worth," was JC's description for the song. He wanted the cover art to be 80s-inspired and wanted a gem or a flower incorporated since his piece relates life to items that are modest, exceptional, and distinctive all at once.
