Introduction A rapidly expanding Multi-Channel Network (MCN), specializing in live sales on TikTok, sought assistance to leverage data effectively, ensuring informed decision-making amidst swift growth.
The Challenge The challenge was integrating data from TikTok Shop and Xero to track influencer sales performance and predict future sales based on orders created and canceled. Additionally, they needed to monitor expenses and profit margins to provide comprehensive reports to their investors. Furthermore, a straightforward interface for investor analytics monitoring was essential.
The Solution We crafted a solution using Microsoft Fabric, facilitating data extraction from Xero and TikTok Shop exports. This data was then amalgamated into a data warehouse with dbt integration. The incorporation of PySpark notebooks and SQL capabilities was crucial for efficient data parsing and reporting. A custom Power BI embedded portal was developed, enabling the company to offer investors a polished version of the reports.
