JDL Studios | Branding a New Studio

JDL Studios is a photography studio based in Chesterfield. They have a variety of sets for rental, and they specialise in adult and boudoir photography. They were in desperate need of a change, which meant a new branding setup to emphasise three things: Professionalism, Sensuality and Uniqueness. We decided to focus in on Jasmine, the glamour model and owner of the studio, as she was a visible leader of the company. She has a very visible Lotus Tattoo and Indian Heritage, so we decided to implement the leaves of the Lotus to create a camera aperture that looks more graceful and sensual than the usual Aperture.

This, combined with a tall, thin Serif font gives us a classy, yet sensual and graceful logo that suggests the adult nature of the company without being too outright and inappropriate with it.
