This video was created as a submission for the Mellow Rock Games, where a climber must send a route in 2025 and have it documented on video. I worked with my friend and director Evan Delagi, choosing to focus on another friend of ours, Leo Marchesi, as he worked on the route Hank's Left in Austin, Texas. This route is located in the Gus Fruh section of the greenbelt, which lies in the middle of town. We wanted to focus on community, as the routes here are highly accessible due to their urban location, and you will frequently see scores of climbers here.

Filmed throughout April and May 2025, this was created on a shoestring budget using camera gear we already had and volunteering our time to go film. A truly grassroots operation, it showed that through organization and teamwork, a remarkable product can still be achieved.
