Your neighborhood was always a dungeon. Nobody just built the map for it until now.
This real-world RPG mobile game concept reimagines how a player interacts with their surrounding stunning real streets into quest zones, nearby locations into dungeons, and physical movement into XP worth grinding for.
Problem
Most location-based RPGs either feel visually dated or sacrifice game depth for map functionality. The RPG mechanics feel shallow, the world feels empty, and there's nothing that makes a player feel like they're actually inside a game.
Solution
Questveil builds a full RPG layer on top of the real world. Streets become quest zones. Locations spawn Challenges and Dungeons. Movement earns XP. Every session feels like a new chapter.
Design Focus
A sky-blue 3D isometric game world with illustrated buildings, floating XP markers, and quest pin overlays creates an atmosphere that feels like loading into an RPG not opening a map app. Player avatar pins with pulse rings and activity-specific quest types give the world depth and replayability.
Feature Highlights
- 3D isometric city map as the game world with real-time quest and dungeon overlays
- Floating XP reward markers tied to real-world locations and movement
- Quest pins Challenge, Workout, Dungeon, Live, Player each a distinct mission type
- Player avatar pin with animated pulse radius ring for proximity-based encounters
- Quest card preview with active mission details and player count
- Bottom filter tabs: All, Challenges, Events, Live Now for instant quest switching
