I designed and developed a conversion-focused WordPress website for Krytter, a specialized booking and business-management platform built for hunting and fishing outfitters.
The website transforms a complex software product into a clear, engaging story that helps outfitters understand how Krytter can simplify bookings, payments, paperwork, licensing, client management, and daily office operations.
Krytter is an outfitting business platform created specifically for professional hunting and fishing operators. Unlike generic booking tools, it brings booking management, payments, client information, paperwork, licensing, scheduling, and operational workflows into one connected system.
The goal of the website was to establish Krytter as a professional and trustworthy industry solution while making its extensive functionality easy to understand.
The final website combines strong outdoor imagery, focused product messaging, structured feature sections, social proof, pricing information, and repeated demo calls to action. The experience introduces the problem, demonstrates the value of the software, and guides qualified visitors toward contacting the Krytter team.

The Challenge
Krytter offers a large range of connected features, including booking management, real-time scheduling, invoicing, payments, client portals, digital paperwork, licensing, travel information, conservation fees, and operational reporting.
Presenting every capability at once could easily make the website feel technical, complicated, or overwhelming.
The target audience also presented a unique communication challenge. Many outfitters spend most of their time working in the field rather than using complex business software. Therefore, the website needed to communicate advanced functionality without sounding like a traditional corporate SaaS platform.
The main design challenge was to balance three things:
Clearly explain a feature-rich software platform.
Preserve the practical, authentic personality of the outfitting industry.
Create a direct conversion path toward booking a free demonstration.
The Strategy
I organized the website around the real problems outfitters experience rather than presenting a simple list of software features.
The page first introduces Krytter as software “built by outfitters, for outfitters.” It then connects the platform to recognizable business problems such as excessive office work, disconnected spreadsheets, paperwork, delayed payments, missing client information, and lost booking opportunities.
After establishing those challenges, the website progressively introduces Krytter’s solutions:
Faster hunt and trip bookings
Real-time availability and scheduling
Automated invoicing and payment reminders
Digital paperwork and signatures
Client and outfitter portals
Licensing management
Online booking links
Centralized operational information
Clear pricing and demo access
This problem-to-solution structure helps visitors understand not only what Krytter does, but why each feature matters to their business.
User Experience and Content Structure
The website uses a long-form landing-page structure designed to educate visitors while maintaining a clear conversion journey.
Clear Value Proposition
The opening section immediately positions Krytter as outfitting business software created specifically for the industry. This helps separate the platform from generic tourism, appointment, or hotel-booking systems.
Problem-Based Storytelling
Instead of relying on technical terminology, the content describes familiar situations: searching through emails, rebuilding invoices, tracking payments manually, managing paperwork, and losing valuable time behind a desk.
This makes the product’s benefits easier to understand for visitors who may not be familiar with SaaS terminology.
Scannable Feature Presentation
Large headings, focused content blocks, supporting images, and concise feature lists break a complex product into understandable sections.
Visitors can quickly identify the capabilities most relevant to them, including booking, payments, office management, paperwork, licensing, and client communication.
Conversion-Focused Calls to Action
Demo and contact actions appear throughout the page at important decision points. Visitors do not need to return to the top or search through the navigation when they are ready to take the next step.
Trust and Credibility
The website incorporates the founder’s industry background, a customer testimonial, product explanations, transparent pricing, and clear contact information.
These elements help position Krytter as a solution created by people who understand the daily realities of operating an outfitting business.
Visual Direction
The visual direction combines the rugged character of the outdoor industry with the structure and professionalism expected from a modern software company.
Large hunting and wilderness photography creates an emotional connection with the target audience, while spacious layouts and structured typography keep the experience professional and readable.
The design avoids making the platform feel overly corporate or disconnected from its users. Instead, it supports Krytter’s central message: the technology manages office work so outfitters can spend more time doing the work they enjoy.
Content, imagery, interface graphics, and calls to action work together to create a brand experience that feels practical, established, and industry-specific.
WordPress Development
I translated the approved design direction into a flexible WordPress website that allows the business to present and update its product content effectively.
The build included:
Reusable content sections
Structured feature layouts
Navigation to major product categories
Product and dashboard imagery
Pricing presentation
Testimonial content
Founder and company-story sections
Demo and contact forms
External links to the hunter and outfitter application portals
Privacy and contact information
Consistent calls to action throughout the experience
The WordPress structure makes it easier for the business to maintain its marketing content as the Krytter platform continues to develop.
Key Features Presented
The completed website communicates Krytter’s core product ecosystem, including:
Customizable outfitting booking engine
Online hunt and fishing-trip bookings
Real-time scheduling and capacity management
Quote and invoice creation
Deposit schedules and payment reminders
Online payment options
Outfitter management dashboard
Hunter client portal
Automated paperwork and digital signatures
Client information and travel-detail collection
Hunting and fishing licensing support
Booking-link publishing
Conservation and association fee management
Product pricing and free-demo registration
These capabilities are organized into a cohesive narrative instead of being presented as disconnected technical features.
Outcome
The finished website gives Krytter a professional digital presence that reflects both sides of its identity: an authentic outfitting business and a modern software platform.
The new experience provides:
A clearer explanation of a complex product
Stronger differentiation from generic booking software
A more organized presentation of product capabilities
A consistent path from discovery to demo registration
Greater visibility for Krytter’s business benefits
A credible foundation for marketing and customer acquisition
A flexible WordPress platform for future content updates
Most importantly, the website communicates the value of Krytter in language that feels familiar to its audience. It does not simply sell software features—it shows outfitters how the platform can reduce administrative work, improve organization, manage payments, and give them more time to focus on their actual business.
