This dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of traffic accident data for the years 2021 and 2022, focusing on different facets of road safety and trends:

Annual Overview: The dashboard highlights a decrease in total accidents from 222K in 2021 to 196K in 2022. However, fatalities increased slightly from 2,855 to over 27K serious injuries, indicating a pressing need for enhanced safety measures.

Accident Conditions: It dissects accidents by various conditions, including vehicle type, location (urban vs. rural), and time of day (day vs. night). Cars are the leading contributors to accidents, followed closely by vans and bikes, suggesting a focus area for safety interventions.

Environmental Impact: The breakdown by weather conditions shows most accidents occur during fine weather, challenging the notion that adverse weather is the primary cause of accidents.

Temporal Trends: The monthly accidents trend displays a peak during the summer months, potentially due to increased travel, and a decline towards the year's end, providing insights into when to intensify road safety campaigns.

Accident Locations: Analysis by junction type and road type indicates that most accidents occur away from junctions and on single carriageways, highlighting these areas as key points for improving road safety measures.
