Background

This case study details the design process for a landing page and marketing materials (brochure for print and social media banner) for a mobile diagnostics interface tool. The goal was to create visually appealing and informative design assets that clearly communicate the tool's features, benefits, and value proposition, ultimately driving conversions.

Challenge

The target audience is men in middle age and above, automotive enthusiasts seeking efficient and portable diagnostic tools. Given the tight four-day turnaround for producing all the assets, I faced the challenge of understanding the client's needs and pain points while creating an aesthetical design that adhered to the brand guidelines. The brochure design needed to communicate the landing page's visual style and resonate with potential customers, highlighting the key features, specifications, and unique selling points in a folded two-sided sheet.

Solution

I analyzed competitor landing pages to identify best practices and opportunities for differentiation. I simplified the content structure to ensure a clear and logical flow, guiding users toward the call to action. I skipped the low-fidelity wireframe stage for the lack of time and dived into the high-fidelity mockups using Figma. While incorporating the provided brand guidelines (logo, colors, fonts), the design emphasizes clean lines, modern typography aesthetics, and high-quality imagery that convey professionalism and trustworthiness. I designed the landing page for mobile devices to ensure a seamless experience.
I organized the brochure design content logically to ensure clarity and ease of understanding using short paragraphs and customized bullets on light backgrounds near high-quality product images. I applied a similar approach to the social media banner, incorporating a clear call-to-action (CTA) to engage the audience effectively.

Results

The final deliverables were a success, effectively highlighting the product features in a visually appealing way, and ensuring all the technical requirements were met. The design not only captured the essence of the brand but also provided potential customers with the information they needed to make informed purchasing decisions. The team expressed satisfaction with the design, noting its clarity and appeal, which they believed would enhance their marketing efforts. This project also demonstrated my ability to deliver high-quality design solutions within a tight deadline.
