I began to work with a client in the home decor industry in late Sep 2022. The client previously attempted to scale their business through Facebook/Instagram ads but achieved limited success.
My goals were to increase the brand's revenue, AOV, new customer acquisition, and to suggest strategies to maintain/increase their repeat purchase rate.

Strategy π€
From the start of taking over the account, I restructured the ad account by creating a Testing campaign alongside two other campaigns comprised of previous winning ads/ad sets.
My aim was to confirm winning creative/copy and to do so while building on previous campaign success.
I guided the client's creative strategy through testing UGC content, behind-the-scenes content, review ads, static images, carousels, and DPA ads. 90% of their previous creative strategy consisted only of static product images and carousels.
While searching for a winning creative strategy, I also strategized the brand's first Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sale which was originally contested by the client due to their lack of interest. However, I was able to win the client over and get them to agree to their first BFCM sale.
Lastly, based on the account's ROAS and MER metrics, I concluded that the account was in a great position to scale its ad spend. I then created MER, CPA, and nCPA targets based on previous performance and goals.
Results π
Due to an increase in ad spend, proper creative testing, strategic offers, and consistency, I was able to drive a 93% increase in revenue over the following 3 months!

Takeaways π£
BFCM
Black Friday and Cyber Monday were huge contributors to the growth of this client [which deserves its own stand-alone case study].
In short, I suggested a simple enticing offer to run throughout the course of Black Friday/Cyber Monday and teased the upcoming sale through a giveaway list-building campaign.
The giveaway generated hype around the upcoming sale as well as increased the customer's email list. Upon the launch of the sale, I guided the client in their email strategy while also promoting heavily through paid ads and organic social.
This strategy resulted in over $100k in sales during Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend alone!
DEC
Although the client generated over $160k in revenue for the month of December, the company closed production and drastically reduced ad spend from 17 Dec - 09 Jan due to the holiday season -- so we were able to achieve these results while promoting the brand for only half the month π§
Conclusion π
The client was extremely satisfied with the results and we are currently collaborating on a strategy to scale even further in 2023.
