Transformed Clunky Website Design into a Smooth Customer Experience
Updated Website Hero Image
Before the redesign
Originally TALFLO reached out to Jake at Apace.io requesting only a logo refresh. After analyzing the current business's brand Jake helped identify multiple areas for improvement.
Originl Website Home Page
Most of the website benefits came from redesigning the Talflo brand.
The New Logo
The Talflo logo typeface and the symbol were directly inspired by the company's flagship product. The major curves and angles were directly taken from the iconic product shape.

Colors
The Colors were simplified and made higher contrast to create a direct and impactful visual experience. Especially for key actions such as calls to action or for help and support.
New Brand Color Palette
Typography
The typography was also simplified. The original sites 6 different fonts were reduced to only one, Montserrat. This was ideal for easy reading and clear messaging.
Imagery
The brand images were also reduced to be relatable to the target audience and to match the color palette. Reinforcing the visual relationship to Talflo's brand. The buttons and UI elements also incorporated the same curves that the logo to keep the interactions cohesive with the brand image.

From Branding to Web Design
Following the brand design, we also designed the new website by reducing complexity and increasing impactful experiences.
Original Website Shop
The original website shop had overwhelming uses of blue hues. This lack of visual hierarchy likely had been slowing and preventing purchases from would-be customers.
The new website shop was dramatically improved by:
Limiting the use of blue to key actions and information
Reducing the number of purchase options
Standardizing the product images
Performance enhancements for SEO
Reduced complexity in the purchase process
Updated Website Shop
Beyond just the visual changes, the navigation flow through the website was dramatically improved.
At the end of each page, additional support forms and chat were crucial in capturing customers who were unsure of which product to purchase or were interested in bulk ordering parts offline.
In the first year following the website changes, TALFLO's revenue increased by 17% overall, and the online sales increased by 30% over the year prior.
These results not only mean revenue growth, but also potential for reinvestment and expansion for the business.
