Nova set out to change how people experience urban mobility by introducing a cutting-edge electric taxi app. With sustainability at its core, Nova needed to balance eco-friendly transportation with a sleek, user-friendly experience. My goal was to design an app that made booking electric rides seamless and enjoyable while also prioritizing efficiency and elegance.

As cities continue to evolve toward sustainable practices, electric taxis are becoming a vital part of urban mobility. Nova recognized the need to position itself as a leader in this space by offering not just clean transportation but also a modern, intuitive booking experience.

To achieve this vision, I focused on creating a refined and straightforward interface that catered to users who value both technology and sustainability. The challenge was to combine the futuristic feel of electric transport with a human-centered design that kept interactions simple and intuitive.

Designing Nova meant creating a balance between sophistication and usability. I focused on three primary aspects to make the app feel both advanced and accessible:

Effortless Booking: The core of Nova’s experience revolves around simplicity. A single tap to book a ride, with smart suggestions based on the user's previous trips, made the experience fast and hassle-free.

Real-Time Tracking: Users needed to feel connected and in control. I designed a live tracking interface that showcased the taxi’s route with smooth animations and accurate time estimates.

Eco-Impact Awareness: Since sustainability is a key selling point, I incorporated features that highlighted CO₂ savings with each ride, visually presenting the environmental impact in a clear and motivating way.

To ensure consistency and modularity, I employed Figma variables for managing typography and color schemes, alongside components and autolayout to streamline the handoff process. This approach made the design easily scalable and adaptable for future updates.

Nova’s visual identity reflects a blend of modernity and environmental consciousness. The design language is clean and minimal, with vibrant accents to convey energy and progressiveness. I used deep greens and bold blues to signify sustainability and trust, while rounded UI elements added a human touch to the tech-driven interface.

Animations are subtle but purposeful, providing feedback during interactions without overwhelming the user. The typography is sleek and easy to read, balancing aesthetic appeal with clarity.

Nova isn’t just an electric taxi app—it’s a movement toward a cleaner, smarter future. From the initial concept to the developer handoff, every detail was crafted to make the app feel modern, reliable, and environmentally responsible.
