Scaling a Fast-Growing Online Grocery Brand with Glide
I worked with MyJam, a fast-scaling UK startup in online cultural groceries, to design and build a complete operations ecosystem in Glide that powers their daily logistics and partner collaboration.
Problem
As MyJam grew, the cracks in their spreadsheet-based system quickly showed.
Frequent order errors and missing items → refunds & lost revenue
No visibility into order status → confusion across teams
Poor scheduling → wasted supplier trips, higher transport costs and delayed order processing.
Inefficient warehouse workflows → hours lost fixing mistakes
Slow, inaccurate customer support, lack of real time order data → frustrated customers
Heavy manual work, no automation → growth too costly
Apps / Solution
I built a Glide solution made up of 3 main apps to tackle MyJam’s growing operational challenges and bring clarity across teams.
Operations App — Central hub for order tracking, pickups, sorting, packing, and shipments and customer service.
Scheduling App — Used by the scheduling team to plan, assign, and coordinate fulfillment
Partner App — Used by suppliers to gain live visibility into requested items, communicate early with operations team and prepare in advance.
