Zillow Homepage Search (UX Design)

Zillow's existing homepage search functionality lacked integration with rental and loan options, causing users to navigate multiple platforms for comprehensive real estate information. This fragmented experience hindered efficiency and user satisfaction.

The proposed designs offered the Zillow team a pathway to enhance their homepage search experience, providing users with integrated solutions that streamline their real estate journey. Stakeholder engagement throughout the process ensured alignment with business goals and user needs.

We developed three distinct design directions:

1. Industry Parity Integration: Aligning Zillow's search functionality with industry standards by seamlessly incorporating rental and loan options into the search bar.

2. Minimalistic Enhancement: Elevating essential rental and loan information within a clean and minimalistic interface, making key details accessible without overwhelming the user.

3. Visually Impactful Integration: Incorporating rental and loan options with striking visual elements to capture users' attention, highlighting resources and tools available on Zillow
