Goal Tracker & Routine Planner is a productivity app designed to help users set, track, and achieve their goals while maintaining motivation through journaling and planning tools. The objective of this redesign was to modernize the app’s look and feel, improve user experience across 80 screens, and introduce a fresh visual identity with Dark Theme, Color Themes, and 50 custom 3D illustrations generated via MidJourney. My focus was on creating an intuitive and visually engaging experience that inspires users to "get more out of life."

The redesign began with user research to identify pain points in the original app. Users wanted a more visually appealing interface, better organization of tasks, and personalization options. I analyzed feedback and conducted usability tests, which revealed the need for clearer goal tracking, a more engaging journal, and customizable themes to suit different preferences.

Using Figma, I overhauled all 80 screens, focusing on:

Goal Tracker: Simplified tracking with progress visuals and statistics.

Goal Plan: A structured daily planner with reminders and schedules.

Journal: Enhanced with mood tracking and voice notes for deeper reflection.

I generated 50 3D illustrations in MidJourney, adopting a consistent style to create a cohesive visual identity. These illustrations were used across motivational screens and goal categories, adding a playful yet professional tone.

Figma: For wireframing, high-fidelity designs, and prototyping.

MidJourney: To create 50 custom 3D illustrations.

Trello: For managing tasks and timelines.

Coolors: To define the app’s color palette for themes.

The Goal Tracker was rebuilt to provide clearer progress visuals, including charts, calendars, and completion stats. A challenge was presenting detailed data without overwhelming users. I solved this by using a tabbed layout for daily, weekly, and monthly views, paired with simple graphs and progress circles.

The Journal section was revamped to include mood tracking, voice notes, and categorized entries (e.g., ideas, thanks, concerns). A challenge was balancing functionality with simplicity. I designed a clean interface with collapsible categories and quick-add options, making journaling seamless and reflective.

To enhance personalization, I introduced a Dark Theme and multiple Color Themes. Users can toggle between light and dark modes or customize the app’s background with colors like purple, orange, and azure. A challenge was ensuring readability across all themes. I addressed this by testing contrast ratios and using a neutral base for text and icons.

This redesign brought a modern, user-friendly experience to Goal Tracker & Routine Planner. The fresh 3D visuals, flexible themes, and restructured UX made it both beautiful and functional. If iterating, I’d explore AI-powered personalization to boost engagement even more.

This project was a reminder that great design isn't just about aesthetics—it’s about crafting experiences that truly support the user’s journey. It was a pleasure helping modernize a meaningful tool that empowers people to grow and stay motivated.
