Description: In a context of limited financial resources and a lean team, the goal was to optimize the acquisition of restaurant partners for the platform through a data-driven lead generation process.
Steps Involved:
Initial Data Gathering: Started with an existing customer base to understand the current distribution of restaurant partners.
Regional and Categorical Analysis: Conducted a comprehensive analysis to identify unmet needs by categorizing restaurants based on regional demand and cuisine types. This step helped prioritize which geographical areas and restaurant categories should be targeted.
Defining Geographical Priorities: Mapped out priority areas using a combination of geographical and categorical data, determining regions with the highest potential for new partner acquisition.
Lead Generation through Web Scraping: Implemented a structured web scraping process to gather a list of potential leads. Initially, this was done manually to validate the criteria and quality of leads, and later automated with the support of the technology team to scale up the process efficiently.
Integration and Execution: Integrated the collected leads into the CRM system and aligned the sales team’s efforts according to the defined priorities, enhancing the acquisition strategy’s precision and impact.
This approach enabled the platform to maximize lead generation and partner acquisition efforts, even within tight budget constraints, by leveraging data insights to inform strategic decisions.
