The main goal of medical records is to ensure that the medical care received by patients is of high quality. Medical records provide detailed information to all health care providers about their patients, and in turn helps doctors determine the best course of treatment. Medical records also help for administrative and financial purposes. Medical records providers can document their work with them, in addition to making it easier for all health care staff to collect.
