Search Enhancements 🔎 (Spectrum - Charter Communications) Concept Design
Creating the best user experience for Spectrums searching abilities was a challenge that we were eager to tackle. Our goal was to make searching a smoother and more efficient process for users. After reviewing customer feedback and analytics, 20% of users addressed they "didn't fid exactly what they were looking for" when searching. To address this issue, we decided to make two major design changes.
The first change was to add search filtering capabilities. We wanted users to be able to easily refine their search results, so we provided users with the ability to filter their results by parameters such as keywords and associated categories. This allowed users to find more relevant results faster, and reduced the amount of time they spent searching.
The second design change we made was to highlight the searched terms while searching. This allowed users to easily identify their searched terms in the search results, which made it easier to find the information they were looking for.
Overall, during our testing, our design changes have been successful in improving the user experience of Spectrum’s searching abilities. Users are now able to find the information they need faster and with less effort. We look forward to continuing to improve the user experience, and we are confident that our design changes will make a positive impact.
