A Nashville-based meal prep company was launching to the local market for the first time. Starting from scratch with zero customers, I led the marketing and customer acquisition strategy following the proven tactics also followed by premeditated growth.
As a result of these local marketing strategies, we grew from having served zero to over 6,000 customers in less than two years. Several years later, the company was successfully acquired by another larger meal prep company.
KEY LOCAL MARKETING ACTIVITIES:
Pop-up events at other local businesses to build relationships, provide product samples, offer real-time incentives to become a customer, and gather contact information for lead nurturing
Partnerships with local corporations to host lunch and learns, provide product samples, and create incentives for their employees to become customers
Social media marketing with custom content highlighting top-performing products, partners, and team
Influencer marketing partnerships to tap into new audiences and generate leads
Weekly email blasts and behavior-driven automated email marketing based on user interaction on the website
