The Alzheimer's Society of Windsor Essex County provides long-term care for Alzheimer's patients. They had only one physical location for these services. They needed consultation on the logistics of their current space, moving to a new location, adding additional locations, or similar logistic efficiency plans. The ASWEC was a non-profit operating on grants and public donations. All expenditures had to be reported and justified by the grant councils. They also need additional revenue that could not be covered by grants. I suggested keeping the current space, rearranging the rooms for space efficiency, and opening a new location to cover all the asks. That suggestion would make the logistics easier than moving to a bigger space and expand their services and brand reach. For the financial aspect, they already owned their current building, and although grants cover monthly expenses like rent, they do not cover mortgages. So, I recommended they sell their current building but in a contract that would let them rent the space. That way, they could get their rent covered by grants, and the sales profits could go towards the logistics, equipment, employees, services, medical devices, and other costs associated with opening a new location.
