Case Study: Elevating Maza’s Social Media Presence Through Strategic Collaboration and Content Management

Objective

To support Maza in building a cohesive social media presence that aligns with their brand identity while optimizing content creation, curation, and engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

Approach

💼 Team Management: I worked closely with Maza’s team, collaborating with the Head of Content to ensure smooth workflow and alignment with brand goals. I managed communication with editors and content creators, ensuring a streamlined content creation and publishing process.
📅 Content Calendar Creation: I designed and implemented a content calendar that kept the team organized and aligned with key campaigns, product launches, and marketing goals. This approach helped ensure consistent and timely content across all platforms.
🎨 Brand Identity Strategy: I helped define and reinforce Maza’s brand identity, ensuring that every piece of content resonated with their target audience and remained consistent with the brand’s voice, tone, and values.
📊 Content Strategy: I developed a content strategy that maximized engagement and brand visibility, focusing on content pillars, storytelling, and cross-platform consistency. This strategic framework empowered the team to create content that captured attention and fostered community.
🤝 Collaboration for Content Execution: By working closely with the Head of Content, I ensured that each piece of content was created, edited, and published seamlessly. We collaborated to review and fine-tune content, keeping it aligned with Maza’s overall marketing and engagement strategy.
🎥 Co-led UGC Creation & Outreach: As the point of contact for UGC creation, I co-led efforts to source and collaborate with UGC creators, building relationships with individuals who aligned with Maza’s values. I managed content creation that catered specifically to US Spanish speakers, ensuring authenticity and cultural relevance.
📝 Content Brief Creation & Approval: I was also responsible for creating and approving content briefs, ensuring all content—whether user-generated or team-produced—was aligned with Maza’s goals and brand voice, and culturally resonant with Spanish-speaking audiences.

Results

✅ Successfully managed a smooth content creation and publishing process across multiple platforms, ensuring high-quality output without delays. ✅ Strengthened Maza’s brand identity through consistent, high-impact content tailored for Spanish-speaking audiences. ✅ Increased audience engagement, growing the Instagram account from 10K to over 30K followers in a short time. ✅ Increased brand awareness by developing an effective content strategy that resonated with target audiences. ✅ Enhanced team collaboration and efficiency, ensuring content was produced and published on schedule. ✅ Streamlined UGC outreach and content approval processes, contributing to authentic, engaging brand content in Spanish.

Conclusion

By co-leading UGC creation and driving a cohesive content strategy tailored to Spanish-speaking audiences, I helped Maza amplify their social media presence, growing their Instagram following by over 20K, and effectively communicate their brand values, driving engagement and connection with a culturally relevant and engaged audience.
