HellCats is a fully custom NFT trading and reveal platform concept that I designed entirely from scratch.
The project combines NFT collection management, swap mechanics, and gamified reveal interactions into one mobile first experience focused on engagement, anticipation, and retention.
I was responsible for the full product vision, UX strategy, user flows, interaction design, and complete UI execution from concept to final high fidelity screens.
Problem
Most NFT platforms focus heavily on technical functionality while neglecting the emotional experience behind collecting, swapping, and revealing assets.
Common problems included:
Confusing swap mechanics
Low emotional engagement during NFT reveals
Weak reward systems
Poor mobile usability
Unclear rarity communication
Limited motivation for users to continue interacting after receiving an NFT
The challenge was to transform a transactional NFT process into an experience that feels exciting, rewarding, and intuitive.
Solution
I designed a fully gamified mobile experience centered around excitement, clarity, and repeat engagement.
The redesign introduced:
Gamified Swap Experience
Users can select one NFT from their collection and send it into the swap pool through a simple and visually guided flow.
Interactive Reveal Mechanic
I created a spin based reveal experience that builds anticipation before presenting the newly received HellCat NFT.
Clear Decision Making
Important actions such as irreversible swaps are clearly communicated through hierarchy, visual feedback, and confirmation states.
