For this project, the main challenge was framing Ever Ember Films as a professional, high-quality wedding videography agency with a new website, the first for their agency. The goal of the website was to increase brand awareness and turn visits into clicks. To accomplish that, I decided on creating a seamless user experience that resonated with site visitors by building rapport, trust, and client goal-alignment.

This project aimed to create a website that shaped the user experience to create expectations and perceptions that aligned with the agency's skills, showcasing what an experienced, professional, and high-quality production agency could provide as the answer to client concerns on consulting the right videographers to create a product that captures the essence of an upcoming wedding.

With the goal being brand promotion and increased click conversions, using the content provided, the strategy was to frame the agency as the solution to their clients' concerns, who didn't know if they needed -or were looking for- a trustworthy videography production for an upcoming wedding, utilizing a user flow that sent users on a journey comprising of steps that would inform and lead them towards clicking for contact. To do this, I used past successes, appealing language, and Ever Ember Films history and ethos to build rapport and empathy. Much of what we aimed to accomplish was done using the written and visual content provided, shaped by an information architecture that supported the user journey and overall experience.

Research involved an analysis of websites of the same industry with similar goals and audiences, and while searching, I reflected on our strategy and determined which sites would best serve as reference for creating it, supporting the development of the user flow in fulfilling our objectives. For this project, I was provided with visuals, written materials, and a brand guideline, allowing me to focus on designing layouts that were made to utilize this content while mapping out a flow that supported the user experience we were looking to create. Performing an iterative design process, the initial wireframe was repeatedly adjusted, the styles were applied, visuals added, and the functionality was tested, culminating in a design that fulfilled our objectives with test results reflecting that we had achieved our design goals. After consulting with the agency and gaining their approval after a presentation, I began planning site development.

I began planning out the development process to ensure efficiency along the project timeline. During the development process, I had to make some adjustments to image resolution, owing to the number of images being used, to ensure smoother loading and a more coherent user experience, as well as adjust code functionality to ensure that the flow was coherent and aligned with our vision. Towards the end of the project the website had been tested and approved by the agency for launch, and since then, the number of click conversions has increased by more than 500%.
