Rebranding of the Pornfilmfestival Berlin

The Pornfilmfestival Berlin is an independent, non-commercial film festival, focusing on sexuality, politics, feminism, gender diversity, post-porn, and body politics. Founded in 2006, it is the first of its kind in Germany.
PFFB celebrates queer culture, underground cinema, and body positivity. To reflect that energy, for its 20th anniversary, rebranding was conceptualised to capture both the rebellious spirit of the oldest porn festival in Europe and the sophistication of its legacy by exploring imagery outside the standard box of stigmatic expectations tied to the adult industry. Glossy bananas, eggplants, cherries, rings: they carry just enough suggestion, but are Playful, surreal, and sculptural, inviting curiosity rather than cliché.
All visuals were generated using AI tools like MidJourney, allowing me to explore imagery outside the standard box of stigmatic expectations tied to the adult industry.
This expressive system contrasts with the clean, minimal logo, creating a flexible identity that feels modern, smart, and provocative, resulting a perfect match for the spirit of PFFB.
