The objective is to create an ecosystem of patients, doctors, hospitals, health devices, insurance, and patient care service providers. For patients, we provide a single platform for digitizing prescriptions, personalized health reminders, and tracking vitals by syncing with devices from daily steps to blood levels and symptoms.
Order medicine is a category where people can buy and collect the medicines they require without having to hustle.
Order medicine allows users to order their medications from a pharmacy that has the best price and discount offers, as well as the fastest delivery.
Project’s Aim 🎯
While the app is well-designed, both as a user and designer, I believe there's significant room for improvement. The description of medicines on the landing page is confusing, leaving users unsure about their next steps.
Currently, the landing page displays a list of medicines, with the search bar positioned in the center. However, the 'order via prescription' option isn't highlighted, and large offer banners follow.
This layout overwhelms the user with information on one screen. In my opinion, the content should be organized into no more than four sections, grouping similar items. This would enhance user clarity and experience.
01 Discover phase 👀
Stakeholder Interview Questions 🧐
Even with a Creative Brief in hand, conducting stakeholder interviews remains crucial. This step is vital for informed decision-making, preventing last-minute disappointments, and minimizing the need for subsequent changes to align with the project's vision.
Key questions to consider include ->
Design Strategy 🤔
Competitive Analysis 🔍
Competitive Analysis is a strategic management assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and potential competitors. We did research looking for similar products & compared 5 apps of which 4 of them are strong.
Qualitative Research 🧪
This research was a less structured research used to gain information about people's reasoning and motivation. Our goal was to have an understanding of the topic and issues faced by users. Here we interviewed 5 target users.
Quantitative Research 📐
We did a calling survey using existing users' contacts to observe any pattern and similarity in what the potential users may want. A total of 25+ users responded to the survey call which assisted us in framing the problem correctly.
Research Insights 🗂
02 Define phase
User Persona 🥸
With the data collected from the interview on the survey, we created a persona representing an ideal user of the application the Persona helped me arrive at a better solution as gives an in-depth understanding of the user's goal frustration, and overall personality.
Empathy Mapping 🧭
To get a deeper understanding of User Behaviours and decisions, we used the Empathy Mapping Method. An empathy map is a collaborative visualization used to articulate what we know about a particular type of user. It externalizes knowledge about users to create a shared understanding of user needs, and aid in decision-making.
03 Design phase
Paper Sketches & Lo-Fi Wireframing ✍️
Once we organized all my insights, we began to design the website. To start this process we began to sketch several of the site's main screens, using my user research as a guide. This allowed me to quickly explore several concepts for the mobile layout. Then tested this with 3 participants to validate whether these solutions addressed both the user and business needs.

04 Testing phase
User Feedbacks 🗒️
We used the prototype to conduct a test with four users in our target demographic. Participants were able to use the app with ease and happy with the design.
There were few positive & negative feedbacks. This helped me uncover opportunities to improve the overall user experience by building an effective, efficient, and enjoyable experience for my users.
