Coreloops Website Design

Project Overview

Coreloops, formerly known as GigBridge, underwent multiple business pivots before evolving into a construction finance management software. Initially a marketplace for contractors to find workers, GigBridge expanded into project management, offering timesheet and payment management, subcontractor directories, and job applications. Eventually, the business shifted focus again, positioning itself as a financial management platform for main contractors to track and control their project spending.
With this pivot, the existing website no longer effectively communicated the company’s new value proposition. My goal was to redesign the website to align with Coreloops' new business focus, clarify messaging, and improve the user journey.

The Challenge

The previous GigBridge website was designed to support a contractor marketplace. As the company evolved, the website became misaligned with its new direction, leading to several challenges:
Unclear Messaging – The content still reflected GigBridge’s old marketplace focus, creating confusion about the platform’s purpose.
Inefficient Navigation – Users struggled to find relevant information about financial tools, making it harder to convert prospects.
Lack of Focus on New USP – The financial management aspect, which was now the core selling point, was not well-highlighted.
The goal of the redesign was to create a website that clearly communicated Coreloops’ financial management capabilities while maintaining support for its remaining project management features.

3. The Design Approach

The need for a quick redesign was identified during internal discussions between myself, the CEO, and the development team, where we mapped out existing pain points and opportunities. We also analyzed competitors in both the construction and finance spaces to understand industry standards and positioning. Based on these insights, I developed a new structure for the homepage that prioritized relevant financial management content while determining which legacy sections to retain, revamp, or remove. I also developed a new navigation system to improve clarity and user flow. Given our tight timeline, we skipped detailed wireframing and instead moved directly to high-fidelity design after a few quick sketches. This approach allowed us to act fast while still leveraging existing components and sections to maintain consistency and speed up development.
