Tokyo Drift: The Scale Shift. 🏎️💨 A debt collector confrontation on an overpass… and suddenly, a high-octane JDM chase through rain-soaked streets. Just as you get hooked on the drama, the camera pulls back to reveal the full picture: two guys playing with a mini slot-car track on a desk. This project for my Tiny Cinematic Universes series is an experiment in visual misdirection, rapid pacing, and scale-shift storytelling. Double Misdirection: Breaking standard storytelling tropes by seamlessly shifting genres—from a gritty crime scene to a JDM street race, and finally to a tabletop scale reveal. Seamless Scale Transition: Designing the visual pull-out so the photorealistic 1:1 world organically shrinks into a desktop diorama.
