SLICE is a digital investment platform that enables individuals to pool funds and invest collectively in vetted opportunities.
The platform allows investors to discover deals, participate in campaigns, and track returns while providing issuers with access to structured capital.
I worked on the end-to-end product design, including the mobile application, web platform, marketing landing page, and product strategy recommendations.
The Problem.
Many investment opportunities remain inaccessible to everyday individuals due to high capital requirements, lack of transparency, and fragmented access to deals.
At the same time, startups and businesses struggle to raise capital efficiently from distributed investors.
The goal of SLICE was to create a platform where individuals could invest smaller amounts collectively, enabling access to opportunities that would normally require larger capital commitments.
Objectives:
The product aimed to:
• Enable collective investment pooling
• Provide transparent campaign information
• Allow investors to track investments and returns
• Provide issuers with structured fundraising tools
• Build trust through clear investment data and risk indicators.

Marketing Considerations.
In addition to product design, I also proposed several marketing considerations to support user acquisition and build trust in the platform:
Positioning & Brand Narrative
SLICE should be positioned not simply as an investment platform, but as a pathway to structured financial prosperity, emphasizing long-term growth, responsible capital allocation, and investor confidence.
Email-Led Trust Building
The landing page was designed to capture segmented emails (Investors / Businesses) and nurture them through educational content explaining investment structures, risk considerations, and long-term wealth strategies.
Founder-Led Brand Presence
Visible leadership through founder insights and short educational posts helps humanize the brand and build credibility, particularly on professional platforms like LinkedIn.
Behind-the-Scenes Credibility
Sharing subtle glimpses of deal evaluation and platform development reinforces the idea that experienced professionals are carefully reviewing investment opportunities.
Educational Content Strategy
Recurring educational content explaining concepts such as debt vs equity, risk bands, and diversification helps establish SLICE as a knowledge authority in private markets.
Campaign Anticipation Strategy
Before each investment opportunity goes live, teasers, webinars, and early-access invitations can create anticipation and position campaigns as curated opportunities rather than open speculation.
Founding Investor Community
Creating an early-access group for founding investors fosters exclusivity, loyalty, and stronger engagement with the platform.
Strategic Partnerships
Collaborating with finance professionals, SME networks, and founder communities helps expand distribution while strengthening credibility.
Conclusion.
The SLICE mobile app was designed to make collective investing simple, transparent, and accessible.
By focusing on clear investment information, intuitive campaign discovery, and real-time portfolio tracking, the mobile experience enables users to confidently explore opportunities and participate in pooled investments.
The goal was to reduce the complexity typically associated with financial platforms while ensuring that users always have the information they need to make informed investment decisions.
