During the COVID lockdowns, I began creating a small collection of personalised baby prints and handmade gifts under the name Mini Enfant. What started as a creative outlet soon became a way to bring a sense of care and celebration to new parents at a time when many were isolated from family and friends.

The identity was built around warmth, simplicity, and personal connection. The logo features a playful, hand-painted elephant paired with a gentle wordmark, expressing care and imagination. A soft, balanced colour palette gives the brand a sense of calm and quiet confidence.

Every element of Mini Enfant was created by hand. Each animal illustration was individually painted, and every letter was hand-printed to preserve its character and texture. The personalised name prints combine these elements with florals and vines, along with each child’s name and birth details, creating keepsakes that feel timeless and individual.

The designs extend naturally to bodysuits, T-shirts, blankets, and cushions, allowing families to surround their children with small, thoughtful pieces made with care. From the choice of paper stock to the placement of each illustration, every decision reflects a belief that design can carry emotion through craft, material, and attention to detail.

Printed on fine-art stock, every print includes the child’s name, date of birth, and details, turning a simple artwork into a keepsake. The design balances light colour, space, and detail to capture the quiet joy of new beginnings.

The invitations were designed to feel personal and joyful. Each one pairs soft colour palettes with hand-drawn illustrations, creating a sense of warmth and celebration. The layouts are simple and balanced, giving space for the child’s name and event details to feel special. Printed on textured stock, they were made to be kept rather than discarded. 

The letter prints each features a single initial illustrated with animals and vines that bring the letter to life. The designs were created in two palettes, soft pinks and greens. To make each piece adaptable to different rooms and personalities. Every print feels unique, yet part of a consistent visual language that connects back to the Mini Enfant identity.

The personalised apparel extended the same quiet design language into everyday life. Baby bodysuits, T-shirts, blankets, and cushions were printed with the same illustrated type used in the name prints, creating a sense of continuity across the collection. Each item was designed to be both beautiful and practical, turning simple garments into keepsakes that families could hold on to long after they were outgrown.
