TURN KEY CLUB: a film for PPS

Client: PPS | Production Company: Lightbox

A commissioned brand film for Pilar Paiva e Sousa, an award-winning interior design and architecture firm. The brief called for something that could translate the feeling of their spaces into cinema. The answer was an entirely original world: the Turn Key Club, presided over by Monsieur Gustave, Comfort Analyst.
My role: Writer, Director
What I brought to it: This one started at the pitch. The concept, the character, the world, the tone — all developed from scratch in response to a brief that was fundamentally about intangible qualities: comfort, elegance, the feeling of a perfectly designed space. Translating that into a narrative required building a fictional universe that felt both distinct and entirely in service of the brand. Directing the on-camera talent to inhabit that world convincingly, while managing the client relationship throughout, meant holding the creative vision together from the first treatment to the final frame. The result was a film that found its own identity while amplifying PPS's.
Recognition: Multiple awards at Tourism and Branding Festivals, including Best Performance and Best Film.
