BilloDesign is my personal portfolio website — reimagined as an interactive, living experience built entirely in Webflow. Rather than simply showcasing projects, the goal was to create a world that feels alive — where design, motion, and sound work together to tell a story.

The site features a sentient 3D orb that guides users through each section, reacts to interactions, and even “speaks” through subtle animations and sound cues.

Most design portfolios focus heavily on aesthetics but often lack personality and emotional engagement. I wanted to change that — to build something that expresses both technical craft and creative soul, while remaining lightweight, accessible, and easy to navigate.

The challenge was to balance:

Minimalism and motion — creating depth without clutter

Performance and interactivity — smooth animations without lag

Futurism and warmth — a digital interface that feels human

To achieve this, I built a modular design system around simplicity and subtlety. Every element — from the typography to the micro-interactions — was designed to communicate precision, balance, and motion harmony.

✨ Animated preloader with a conversational greeting sequence

🔊 Sound design system using Howler.js for typing sounds, mechanical clicks, and emotional orb tones (excited, sad, idle)

🎬 Smooth page transitions and micro-interactions powered by Webflow native animations

💎 Glassmorphism & gradient glow aesthetics to achieve a premium yet minimalist look

💬 Interactive form modal featuring the orb blinking as users send a “transmission” message

The result is a futuristic yet inviting portfolio that doesn’t just present my work — it embodies it. Visitors are guided through an experience that feels like communicating with a digital assistant — immersive, emotional, and memorable.

This project was submitted to the 2025 Contra × Webflow Hackathon, where it gained attention from members of the Contra team and community for its innovative storytelling and balanced aesthetic.

This project deepened my passion for building experiences that connect human curiosity with digital imagination.
