LUCA: a Framer storefront connected to Shopify, with back-in-stock alerts per size
Framer Commerce integration for a women's cycling apparel brand, so the Framer site works as a real shop and sold-out sizes collect sign-ups instead of losing buyers.
Client and challenge
LUCA is a UK brand of women's cycling and spin apparel, built around kit designed for women from the start. Products, stock and checkout live in Shopify, while the site itself runs on Framer. The brief was to connect the two so the Framer site works as a real shop, and to stop losing buyers when a size sells out.
What I did
My scope was the commerce integration, not the site design. I built and configured all of it myself.
Shopify connection
I connected the Framer site to LUCA's Shopify store with Framer Commerce, so product pages, collections and the cart read products, variants, prices and stock from Shopify through the Storefront API.
Notify Me
For sold-out sizes I set up a back-in-stock flow. On a product page such as the Aurora jersey, a shopper who picks an unavailable size (XXS, for example) sees a "Notify me when available" button and leaves an email.
Klaviyo
Each sign-up is tied to that product and size and sent to LUCA's Klaviyo account, and the shopper gets a confirmation that they will be emailed when the size is back in stock.
Scale
The setup runs across the whole live catalogue: dozens of product pages and the style collections all read from Shopify.
Results
The LUCA team manages products, stock and new drops in Shopify, and the Framer storefront reflects the changes without a developer.
Instead of a dead end on sold-out sizes, they collect back-in-stock sign-ups per size in Klaviyo and can email those shoppers when stock returns.
