Scribble Hero Section Design and Animation

Overview This hero section uses a playful, hand-drawn style built from loose lines, doodles, and simple shapes. The drawings move gently on the screen, giving the page an energetic and creative feel. The sketchy look makes the design feel personal and spontaneous, almost like watching ideas take shape on a blank page.

Goal of the Project The goal was to introduce the Scribble website with a hero section that clearly represents its core message: creative freedom. It needed to feel open, expressive, and fun, giving visitors an instant sense of what Scribble is about.

Design and Animation Everything was created in Spline using a 3D path to shape the illustration. Instead of drawing flat lines, the strokes were formed as 3D paths, which allowed them to bend, curve, and flow more naturally. This gave the scribbles a unique depth and motion that feels more alive than typical 2D doodles.

The animation was also done in Spline. Each line and shape has small movements that make the illustration feel active without being distracting. The strokes wiggle or shift slightly, as if they’re being redrawn in real time, helping keep the sketchbook feeling intact.

Tools All illustrations, paths, and animations were created fully inside Spline.

Result The final hero section captures the idea of creative freedom in a simple and honest way. The moving scribbles, hand-drawn style, and smooth 3D path animations make the page feel like an open sketchbook where ideas can grow and change.
