Aliv is a leading telecommunications provider in the Bahamas, offering cutting-edge mobile and broadband services. Known for its commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, Aliv delivers reliable and fast connectivity solutions to individuals and businesses across the islands.

Before diving into the design process, extensive research was conducted to understand user needs and pain points. Surveys, interviews, and online web reviews were used to gather insights into user preferences and behaviors when using mobile telecommunication apps

Speed Matters: Users want fast and efficient mobile top-up service. Waiting too long can mean they cannot stay connected if they lose service during checkout.

Simplicity Wins: Many people find existing apps confusing and cluttered. They prefer simple and easy-to-use interfaces.

Visual Appeal : Users are attracted to visually appealing designs and high-quality images communicate clearly.

By understanding our users' preferences and pain points, we can design MyAliv to be a user-friendly and efficient mobile service app that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.

In our usability testing conducted with Maze, participants completed a three-part follow-up survey to evaluate their experience with the redesigned interface. The final question included an open-ended section for users to offer suggestions for improvement. Here’s a summary of the feedback we gathered.

The focus group provided valuable insights, with most participants expressing satisfaction with the new design. Their feedback led to user-focused improvements and feature suggestions that were integrated into the final design.

Key enhancements included the streamlined registration process, convenient payment methods like Apple & Android Pay, improved visibility of active sessions, and additional features to help users check their balance and purchase history in the click of a button
