WordPress website migration and overhaul

My role on this project: consultant, digital marketing specialist, and SEO specialist (website migration)

As the old version of the website was severely outdated and prohibitive in what business goals could be achieved with it, the website had a complete overhaul. During work, I stepped in at various stages of this project as a consultant on conversion rate optimization for Google Ads, and SEO tasks, and worked on various technical aspects such as speed optimization, content planning and mapping, and Google Ads campaign analysis and clean-up for improved CRO.

On top of that, I was tasked with WordPress website migration, including but not limited to:

— development of a comprehensive content plan;

— technical and content audits;

— WordPress website speed optimization.

— content/meta optimization mapping for designer/s and developer;

— comprehensive SEO guidelines for smooth migration along with execution

— WordPress speed optimization (webp, caching, lazy load, js/css minifying)

— increase in organic search traffic by 30% M2M

— smooth content transition along with CRO optimization (0.3% CRO increase)

— page speed score of 95 and 86 for desktop and mobile respectively

The project was overhauled with an increase in organic search traffic as well as improved rates of conversion.
