TradingVPS – UI/UX Case Study

Challenge: Design the fastest thing a trader can buy without saying it.
Almost every VPS provider claims to be fast. Professional traders are skeptical of marketing claims and need proof through design itself. TradingVPS needed a website that conveyed speed, reliability, and technical credibility at first glance—using typography, layout, real hardware visuals, and latency data as the evidence.
Solution: We studied 8 competing VPS sites and identified 4 recurring problems: messy pricing tables, unproven speed claims, stock-photo server rooms, and casino-style design. We addressed each with:
Real hardware advantage – Custom 3D renders and detailed hardware specs (Ryzen 9 9950X, DDR5, NVMe) made from Cinema 4D and Blender, replacing generic images
Latency as proof – Sub-millisecond ping times tied to specific locations (Chicago, New York, London) and rendered with actual network data
Strategic restraint – Black, grey, and white palette with electric blue reserved only for actions, latency numbers, and live signals
User-intent architecture – Site organized by location and trading platform (NinjaTrader, MetaTrader), not random features
Three trader personas – Designs tailored to scalpers, algo runners, and prop-firm traders—each with different concerns
Approach: Every layout, section, and visual was judged against one question: Does this help the trader trust the product faster? 30+ 3D renders, a design system, and responsive mobile layouts delivered.
Tools: Figma, Cinema 4D, Blender
