In March 2025, I worked with a client hired by Duarte to write scripts for several of their YouTube videos.
Duarte is a global leader in presentation storytelling, and their content helps professionals communicate ideas more effectively. I had access to their extensive resources, which made it easier to align the scripts with their philosophy.
What I did
Researched Duarte’s viewpoints and frameworks to ensure each script communicated their unique perspective.
Found real-world, practical examples to ground abstract ideas - particularly in data storytelling and technical communication.
Wrote full-length scripts in Duarte’s voice: clean, practical, and designed to deliver quick wins to the viewer.
Structured each video around a clear narrative arc - from hook, to insight, to close.
Worked directly with my client's team, turning around feedback and revisions quickly.
Work Style & Process
Since my client was new to working with a copywriter, I created a simple Brief Template to guide our process. This helped them clarify their goals and key messages upfront. We worked in Google Docs and managed communication and feedback via email - keeping things lightweight and efficient.
