The Problem: GVRN needed a modern and functional landing page that could effectively communicate their three main products: Fundraising, Incorporation, and Term Sheet Generator. The challenge was to merge legal reliability with a fresh, innovative Web3 aesthetic, creating a site that inspires confidence among investors while remaining engaging and clear for startup founders.

My Role: I was responsible for the development in Webflow. The design was provided by the client’s design team, and my role was to bring it to life with clean development, smooth animations, and optimized performance.

From a development perspective, the main goal of the project was to bring a static design to life by creating a highly interactive and engaging Webflow build.

Specific objectives included:

Pixel-perfect implementation of the provided design in Webflow.

Complex animations and interactions using Webflow interactions and custom GSAP where needed, ensuring smooth transitions and a dynamic user experience.

3D integration: embedding and optimizing Spline 3D elements to add depth and innovation to the site.

Responsive design: making sure all animations and layouts worked seamlessly across devices.

Performance optimization: balancing advanced visuals with clean code, fast load times, and accessibility best practices.

Maintainability: delivering a scalable structure that allows the client’s team to update content easily in the future.

The development process began with receiving the Figma designs and animation references provided by the client’s design team. My role was to carefully analyze the prototypes and plan how to best translate them into Webflow with a focus on scalability and performance.

Preparation & Planning: Reviewed the Figma files and motion references, defining the best approach to implement animations and 3D interactions.

Webflow Development: Built the website structure in Webflow, ensuring clean class naming, responsive layouts, and CMS-ready components where needed.

Animations & Interactivity: Implemented the interaction design using Webflow’s native tools combined with GSAP for advanced animations, ensuring smooth and dynamic transitions throughout the site.

3D Integration: Embedded and optimized Spline 3D models, making them lightweight and interactive while keeping overall performance balanced.

Testing & Iteration: Conducted cross-device testing to guarantee that animations, interactions, and 3D elements worked seamlessly on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Adjustments were made based on client feedback to fine-tune the experience.

This project was an opportunity to push the boundaries of what can be built in Webflow by combining it with advanced animations and 3D integration. One of the main challenges was balancing complex interactions and Spline 3D assets with overall performance and responsiveness. I solved this by carefully optimizing assets, leveraging GSAP for smoother animations, and structuring the project in a scalable way.

It taught me the importance of precision in development when working with highly detailed motion references, as well as how crucial it is to collaborate closely with design teams to achieve the intended vision.

Ultimately, this project reflects my creative developer style: building websites that are not only functional but also immersive, dynamic, and memorable experiences.
