Cross-Platform Event Discovery & Professional Networking App

Project Description: 

Mitiim is a cross-platform event discovery and networking app built to help users explore events, connect with professionals, and engage with communities in real time.  Developed for Android using Flutter, the platform delivers a smooth, interactive experience that brings together event management, personalized recommendations, and secure communication tools  all within a clean and responsive mobile interface.  

Challenge: 

Participation in events and networking frequently takes place across disjointed platforms, each requiring separate applications for registration, messaging, scheduling, and community engagement. Users were in need of a consolidated solution that could suggest pertinent events, facilitate unimpeded communication, aid organizers, and offer a secure, scalable mobile platform. Mitiim was conceived to address these deficiencies, offering a more structured, effective, and purposeful event experience for all users. 

Solution: 

Mitiim was architected as an all-in-one event and networking ecosystem.  Built using Flutter with a Firebase CMS-integrated backend, the app combines event discovery, organizer tools, and real-time communication under one platform.  Designs were translated from Framer to FlutterFlow to ensure pixel-perfect UI consistency and a smooth user experience across screen sizes.  Real-time data handling, optimized performance, and secure user authentication formed the core of the development approach. 

Key Features: 

Personalized Event Recommendations  Tailored suggestions based on interests, categories, and user activity drive higher engagement and relevant event discovery.  In-App Networking & Real-Time Messaging  Chat, attendee profiles, and direct messaging create opportunities for meaningful conversations before, during, and after events.  Organizer Dashboard  Event creators can easily manage schedules, attendees, and announcements through an integrated dashboard.  Secure Authentication & Data Protection  Firebase Authentication and encrypted storage ensure safe access and privacy-focused communication.  Real-Time Push Notifications  Timely alerts for invitations, updates, and reminders keep users connected and informed.  Optimized Android Deployment  Launched successfully on Google Play, the app was performance-tested and optimized for all major screen sizes and Android versions. 

My Role & Responsibilities: 

Developed the app using Flutter and integrated the backend with Firebase CMS for scalable data handling. 

Executed Framer-to-FlutterFlow UI translation ensuring visual accuracy and responsiveness. 

Built real-time messaging, push notifications, and dynamic event recommendation modules. 

Ensured secure user authentication and encrypted data structures. 

Conducted performance optimization and device compatibility testing for Android.
