Our journey began with thorough user research, engaging with 5 individuals through interviews to gain valuable insights. From this research, we created an empathy map, looking into users' feeling, thinking, what they do and says. Through analysis, a common problem emerged: users desired to travel light but found themselves burdened by overpacking, resulting in inconvenient travel experiences.

As a UX designer, our mission was: to develop a solution that empowers users to streamline their packing process, ensuring they have everything they need for their journey without the unnecessary weight and hassle. Thus, our project aims to create a Travel Checklist App tailored to address this specific pain point, providing users with the tools they need to pack efficiently and travel with ease.

It begins with understanding the problem and brainstorming potential solutions such as budgeting tools, discount coupons, and local travel guides. However, we discovered that many users are seeking pre-made checklists for hassle-free packing. Recognizing this, our team believed that developing a customizable pre-made checklist tailored to user needs, location, and trip type would offer the best solution.

To validate our approach, we conducted assumption mapping to identify high-risk unknowns, created proto-personas, and formulated questions and assumptions. Subsequently, we generated How Might We (HMW) statements and employed techniques like Crazy 6's and dot voting to prioritize ideas.
