Introduction

Nági by Isaac is a project we kicked off in the beginning of August. Dutch artist Isaac Job approached us to create a new website for his art collection which existed out of three different statues; Yuki, Yu'di and The Nomad.
We went all-out and created a full 3D museum world, combined AI renders with smooth interactions and brought it all together in Framer. This is not just your typical website, we wanted to elevate the experience of the stories behind the works of Isaac.

Isaac's main question:

I now have a site that shows my work, but not the story behind the works, I'm really looking for something immersive."

How We Started - The Museum

We kicked this project off working out concepts for the different worlds behind the Nági works. We decided to make this separation by implementing different "worlds" that were all accessible from the same place; The Museum.
The Museum is a central, 3D interactive place built in Blender. We started building the entire scene in Blender, importing the 3D assets from the works and build the environment. This eventually got baked into WebGL code which we converted into a Framer component.

The World of the Yuki

"Yuki" means snow in Japanese. So the theme was clear, a traditional Japanese style in winter time. We follow the bird in the first scene to the Yuki standing on the top of a traditional hill with Mount Fuji in the background. From here we transitioned into a cool scene where we see the Yuki in 360, the ultimate opportunity to show off the statue completely. At the end of the star scene, we make the transition into the painting Isaac sells with the statue making the product story complete.

The World of Yu'di

Yu'di comes from "Yu di Kòrsou" meaning "child of Curaçao", it represents the growth Isaac experienced from his childhood. Having the courage to move abroad for new opportunities, moving away from his home; Curaçao. With now multiple art exhibitions on the island, the Yu'di is a perfect representation of the growth of Isaac's work.
The page shows a constant conflict between the island, and the land representing the soar, grey weather in The Netherlands and the sunny island on Curaçao. The final frame shows the combination, build a better future for where you came from.

The World of The Nomad

The Nomad is inspired by the Tuareg, a specific type of people from the Sahara. The Nomad represents the journey we all take through life. The focus for this page was to show the inspirations and details in the work that represented the Tuareg.

The Result

As a result, we now present an immersive website for Isaac's work to live on. It's not just an image of the statue with a "Buy Now" button, but a true experience people can feel, explore and see Isaac's work.

I'm super surprised by the insane work these guys delivered! It exceeded all my expectations and I now get multiple requests from gallery's. I feel like there's an added layer of depth in my work"
