Exhibition Art for LDF- Post Reality ⭐

We are living in a global era of digital AVATARS, where people/ things are changing their Avatars rapidly and the boundaries of reality is sinking in the ocean of perception. A few decades back the definition of reality was so well defined that it was hard to question its authenticity. Tech evolution attracted people by creating their digital identities and allowing them to choose and change their own persona with their desired attributes. We can change our environment, attire, and even our features any minute with a few clicks. I believe soon we would be able to choose and change not only our own skin for ourselves but for others too. In my recent work, I have pictured the upcoming reality in my local surroundings.

Note: This artwork is an imaginary depiction of life at the David courtyard, a part of the prestigious institute of National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. A place busy producing the memoirs of the future for over a century.

Title: "Society's Chameleons"

Description: This portrait is a commentary on the impact of societal norms and expectations on the individual. The painting depicts a young girl surrounded by three chameleons, symbolizing the pressure to conform and adapt to fit in with our social groups. As the girl supports one of the chameleons with her hand, she makes eye contact with the viewer, inviting us to reflect on how we might also be conforming to societal expectations. The painting raises questions about the cost of losing our individuality and the desire to live a fulfilling life.
