Contexa is a product concept for turning scattered messages into a searchable, traceable account of what happened.
Long conversation histories are difficult to review across dates, topics, and participants. Important statements become buried, and isolated screenshots can lose the context needed to understand them.
I designed Contexa around a workflow for organizing communications, locating relevant exchanges, and connecting timeline entries to their original source messages. The interface explores chronological navigation, topic filtering, and side-by-side review so users can move between an overview and the underlying conversation.
The central design challenge is making complex records easier to understand while preserving uncertainty, surrounding context, and the distinction between a direct quotation and an interpretation.
