I’ve been a recurring guest editor on these videos, creating visual content for backstory segments with archival images, behind-the-scenes footage, and Monty Python-esque paper cutout animations. These backstory sections require a lot of research and creativity with the visuals since the writing of the source material isn’t likely to be as well documented with photos + videos as the on-set behind-the-scenes of the filmmaking process. I add animations to fill in the gaps. These videos and animations are filled with pop culture references, cartoon sound effects, and memes, with the tone of animations designed to match the silly nature of the premise and the comedians’ commentary.
