The unique challenge of translating a couple’s love story into a visual language - one that conveys their values and personalities in a cohesive yet effortless way - is what keeps me perennially inspired to work in weddings.
In the case of Sophia (a journalist and climate advocate) and Lawrence (a FDNY first responder) this was especially important. Their three day wedding celebration, held on a 35-acre permaculture farm chosen for it’s sustainable practices, was packed with intentional elements and activities aimed at connecting guests in meaningful ways while interacting with the rich history and landscape of Montana. This value-aligned approach was further communicated in the event design and stationary through organic typefaces and hand drawn imagery that expressed their earthy yet refined aesthetic.
