Outplan Finance Website Design and Development

Outplan Finance is a UK-based subscription financial planning service built exclusively for business owners. The brief was clear: design and build a website that converts visitors into subscribers — not just a brochure, but a high-trust sales tool for a regulated financial service.

Design The visual direction is built on a dark emerald palette (#27312E) with a vibrant green accent (#10BB82), communicating authority and modernity without the coldness typical of fintech. Typography is fluid and responsive using a custom clamp-based scaling system. Key sections — the fee calculator, comparison table, and service cards — were designed to progressively build confidence and address objections as the user scrolls.

Development Built entirely in Webflow with heavy custom JavaScript. The hero features a scroll-driven video shrink animation using GSAP ScrollTrigger and Lenis smooth scroll. A second scroll sequence animates client thumbnail cards with parallax while an expanded video fades in beneath them. Services are delivered via a GSAP-powered horizontal scroll. Additional custom components include an interactive fee calculator, a toggle-based comparison section, animated sticky process steps, and a loading screen with a branded switch animation. Full mobile optimisation required solving complex conflicts between Lenis, position: sticky, and native iOS/Android scroll behaviour.
