🎯 Problem Statement

Challenges Before the Solution

Fragmented Process – YuWaah Sakhis manually tracked learners and job opportunities with no centralized platform.
Lack of Visibility – Partners and administrators lacked real-time insights into the program’s progress.
Inefficient Opportunity Management – Assigning jobs and tracking their completion was complex.
Solution: A mobile-first platform where YuWaah Sakhis can manage learners, assign tasks, and facilitate job opportunities, supported by web-based modules for partners and super admins.

👥 Users & Their Needs

Submit proof of completed tasks via photos or documents.
Learners (Job Seekers)
Individuals seeking employment and skill development.
Complete assigned tasks and progress through structured job pathways.

Secondary Users

Partner & Partner Centers

🛠 My Role & Contributions

✅ Wireframing
✅ UI High-Fidelity Design
✅ Interactive Prototyping
✅ Design Handoff
👥 Collaboration:
Worked directly with UNICEF stakeholders and a software development agency to validate designs.
Followed PRD guidelines without conducting independent user research.

📌 Design Process & Approach

I followed a lean design approach:
1️⃣ Understanding Requirements – Received the PRD from UNICEF.
2️⃣ Wireframing – Created low-fidelity wireframes for mobile and web.
3️⃣ High-Fidelity UI Design – Built detailed UI screens in Figma.
4️⃣ Prototyping – Created an interactive prototype for validation.
5️⃣ Developer Handoff – Delivered assets and design specs.
🚀 Tools Used: Figma for design & prototyping.

🚧 Challenges & Constraints

🔹 No Direct User Research – Relied solely on PRD documentation.
🔹 Strict Design Requirements – Needed to align with UNICEF’s branding and stakeholder preferences.
🔹 Independent Design Process – Minimal collaboration except for feedback validation.
✅ Workaround: Iterated designs based on feedback from UNICEF stakeholders and development teams.

📊 Final Outcome & Expected Impact

🔹 Currently under development – No user metrics yet.
🔹 Expected Impact:
Streamlined task and opportunity management.
Better visibility for partners and super admins.
Empowered women leaders with digital tools.

📚 Key Learnings & Reflections

✅ Gained insights into working with large-scale NGOs like UNICEF.
✅ Learned to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across organizations.
✅ Improved ability to work independently on UX/UI with limited direct user research.
🔹 Future Improvement: Would have preferred more user involvement during the research phase.
