Living Sports had recently rebranded from a Spanish print magazine to an English-language digital platform, but they were struggling to reach high-quality audiences beyond casual sports fans.
With limited budget and strong competition from outlets like ESPN, they needed a way to attract engaged readers who valued in-depth, elite sports journalism.
The Solution:
Google Ads
I developed and ran a highly targeted Google Search Ads campaign focusing on high-intent keywords across their full sports coverage (F1, tennis, golf, sailing, polo).
By crafting niche, emotionally resonant ad copy and optimising for cost-effective clicks, we achieved 199 clicks at a 4.24% CTR on just €60. Driving a surge of qualified traffic to their site and boosting newsletter sign-ups.
Meta Ads
This was a collaborative effort between myself and the designer. She created the imagery and used winning copy from their previous posts. I wrote the Headline and Primary copy for the ads and acted as the media buyer - creating and launching the campaign on Meta. We reached our KPIs within just 4 days.
LinkedIn Ads
Collaborating with the designer, I crafted copy suitable for the platform and delivered the ad for 10 days.
