Farmlytics is a SaaS platform that brings farm operations data into one place, helping producers, agronomists, and farm managers monitor conditions, manage tasks, control connected devices, and track projected results through a single interface.

I started Farmlytics to explore how a complex agricultural operation could be made easier to monitor and manage through a single digital product. The project focused on bringing different types of farm information together while still giving each user the level of detail they need to make decisions.

Producers and farm managers often make decisions using information spread across different tools, spreadsheets, devices, and field records. This makes it harder to understand what is happening across the farm and act on the information that matters.

The challenge was to bring these different sources together without creating another overwhelming dashboard, while still supporting the different needs of producers, agronomists, and farm managers.

Farmlytics brings environmental monitoring, IoT device control, task management, and harvest projections into one unified workspace. Instead of navigating between different sources, users can see the information that matters to their role and act on it from the same interface.

The experience was structured around three user needs: a clear overview for producers, deeper technical information for agronomists, and an operational view for farm managers.

I started by defining three personas with distinct needs: producers looking for a clear overview, agronomists working with technical data, and farm managers focused on daily operations. I then mapped the main user flow and structured the information architecture before moving into the interface.

The Design System was developed alongside the screens to maintain consistency across different data types and levels of information density. This helped create a unified experience across the seven screens of the product.

Farmlytics resulted in a unified SaaS interface that brings operational, environmental, and production information into one workspace. The final concept supports different user needs while keeping complex information structured and accessible.

As an academic project, Farmlytics has no live users or performance metrics. The outcome is the product architecture, interface, and Design System created to support the concept.

The final design brings together the main Farmlytics experience, from environmental monitoring and connected devices to task management and harvest projections. The dashboard is structured to help users move from understanding what is happening to deciding what needs attention.
